Surveying

Our surveyors give your project clear control points, accurate levels and reliable as-built information. We set out grids, foundations, drainage and steelwork, produce topographical and measured surveys, check tolerances against design, and keep your site team supplied with the data they need to build confidently.

Companies We Work With

Surveying that supports every stage of your project

Our surveying team provides clear, reliable information for contractors, developers and property owners throughout the construction lifecycle. From initial site appraisal to handover, we deliver topographical surveys, measured building surveys and precise setting-out so your designers and site teams are always working from accurate data.

Whether you’re planning a new build, extending an existing facility or refurbishing a complex site, you can rely on us for fast response, clear reporting and practical advice. Using modern instruments, digital models and proven field procedures, we help reduce risk, avoid clashes and keep projects running smoothly on site.

We combine construction experience with precise measurement, so what’s on the drawing matches what’s built on site.

FAQs

We provide topographical surveys, construction setting out, as-built checks, measured building surveys, monitoring (movement and crack gauges) and volume surveys for cut-and-fill or stockpiles. We can support everything from small extensions and yard layouts to full new-build and infrastructure projects.

The earlier the better. Ideally we get involved once you have a proposed layout or initial design, so we can establish control, confirm levels and highlight constraints before work starts on site. We can then stay involved through foundations, frames, services and final as-built checks.

You’ll receive clear drawings and reports in the formats you need, typically DWG and PDF, along with supporting photos and digital records. Where appropriate we can supply 3D models and surface data that plug into your design software or project portal, so the whole team can review and download the latest information.

We normally ask for the latest drawings (PDF or CAD), any existing survey data, grid and level information, your programme, and any specific tolerances or checks you need. We’ll also confirm access, site rules and PPE requirements before attending.

Yes. We can adopt your existing control or establish new control and tie it back to your grid and levels. Our surveyors are used to working alongside site managers, engineers and other consultants, agreeing responsibilities and sign-off points so everyone is clear on what has been checked and when.

Most surveys are priced on a fixed scope with a clear, written quote before we start. Ongoing construction setting out is agreed in advance, with any travel or specialist equipment set out separately so there are no surprises.
