FAQs

Duerden Group delivers civil engineering, groundworks and related services, including earthworks, foundations, drainage, external works, landscaping and small structural works. We also provide materials, plant & agri hire and ready-mix concrete through our specialist divisions, so clients can package more of their site needs with one team.

We’re based in the North West and regularly work across Cumbria, Lancashire and the wider region. For the right projects and frameworks we also support schemes further afield across the UK.

We work with regional and national main contractors, housebuilders, developers and local businesses, as well as public-sector clients. Our teams are used to slotting into larger project teams or taking responsibility for self-contained civils and groundworks packages.

Health and safety is built into how we plan and deliver every job. We use task-specific RAMS, daily briefings, trained supervisors and well-maintained plant, and we expect everyone on site to stop work and raise concerns if something doesn’t look right.

Yes. We can take care of earthworks, groundworks, materials, concrete supply, haulage and plant in one coordinated package, led by a single project contact. That keeps interfaces simple, reduces delays and makes it clear who is responsible for what on site.

Send us your drawings, outline scope and any key dates, and we’ll come back quickly with any questions. Where helpful we’ll arrange a site visit, then provide a clear, itemised proposal so you can see exactly what’s included before you commit.
